We are so excited to announce that Clozetivity of Central Texas, a custom closet company, is one of the sponsors of the Rags to Wags Gala on November 19, 2022! The Austin Humane Society does so much for the animals in our community and we are honored to be able to support their efforts. 

Rags to Wags Gala is a yearly gala that raises funds to support the Austin Humane Society’s lifesaving programs and services. Every year, they welcome over 600 guests, including animal lovers, business and community leaders, and celebrities. This year’s theme is “Paw-ty On!” and will feature a silent auction, dinner, and dancing.

AUSTIN HUMANE SOCIETY IS A NO-KILL SHELTER

The Austin Humane Society is the oldest no-kill shelter in Austin, Texas. AHS has rescued animals since 1952. They commit to finding forever homes for all of their furry friends. AHS provides shelter, adoption, foster, spay/neuter, wellness, education, and rescue programs for the animals in their care. These programs would not be possible without the support of generous donors like Clozetivity of Central Texas, a custom closet company.

Last year alone, AHS placed 9,427 animals in forever homes. They also performed 16,017 spay/neuter surgeries and provided 564 free or low-cost wellness clinics. In addition to these direct services, they also offer free dog training classes and behavior help hotlines for adopters. These programs help keep animals in their homes and out of shelters. 

AHS is one of the only shelters in Austin that takes in any animal that needs help, regardless of age, breed, or health condition. They never turn away an animal in need. They are always working to find creative solutions to save as many lives as possible.
